Why: Many many centuries back masks were used for sacred, protection, entertainment, ritual and disguise purposes (basically to portrait another character. So they used them for many reasons and they have now become a piece of art in many cultures and countries.
When: Masks have been used, like I said for many years. The oldest one we know about is from 7,000 b.c it was from the Greek culture.

Where: Masks were originated in Greek cultures but now they're used in many countries including: Africa, Bali & Java, Caribbean, East Asia, Europe, Guatemala, India & Himalayas, Mexico, Misc, Native America etc.
What: A piece of art that covers your face, people use it for many reasons, such as entreteinment, protection and more.
Who: Musicians, actors, leaders, religious people, glaseados, warriors (for protection).
How: Made of organic materials, such as stiffened linen, clay, yeast, wood, bronze, copper, brass, terracota, ivory and pottery, recycle materials etc.
